Prior to moving to Florida, Julie’s professional background included over 20 years in sales and marketing for both start-up and established firms in high-tech industries in Atlanta, Georgia. The business skills she cultivated throughout her tenure had made her well-equipped to navigate every element of the real estate process, paying attention to details and making use of marketing strategies both digital and traditional. As a specialist on Longboat Key and the barrier islands of Sarasota, Julie is exceptionally well-informed on waterfront properties and takes as much pride in finding that perfect retreat for buyers as she does in achieving the best possible price for sellers. A true people person, Julie’s enthusiasm and passion for her work shines through from the very first meeting.

A graduate of the University of Alabama, Julie also holds a master’s of business education degree in finance from Georgia State University. Outside of real estate, Julie is very active in the community of Longboat Key and enjoys the activities at the Sarasota Yacht Club. She advocates for children and adults with disabilities, having served as the Director of the Conductive Education Center of Sarasota-Bradenton for many years, and previously on the board of Instride Therapy, Inc., a therapeutic horseback riding non-profit. She is also passionate about marine and wildlife conservation and has volunteered for many years in Mote Marine’s Sea Turtle Program and in their Education Department.

When she is not busy with work and volunteering, Julie enjoys spending time with her young adult son, walking on the beach, and taking a Peloton or Pilates class.
